Casa Salgueiro, is a beautiful villa located in the popular area of Albardeira, close to the Lagos Marina and Meia Praia beach. This delightful villa is under new ownership for 2018 and has been decorated tastefully and to a high standard. This villa has everything to cater for a great family holiday.

The villa has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a games area with Ping Pong, all the bedrooms and living area are air-conditioned. The first double bedroom is located on the ground floor with a shower room next door, the second and third bedrooms are upstairs one double room and a twin room / super king room with 2 large single beds that can be joined to make a super king if required, both these bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Both the upstairs bedrooms open onto a large front terrace that looks down over the front of the villa and pool.

The large living area is downstairs fully air-conditioned with seating for the family in the living room that follows through to the dining area with a table and 6 chairs for all the family to be seated comfortably, from the living area there a 3 sets of patio doors that enter out onto the patio by the pool which has a lovely covered terrace area with an outside sofa and chairs and there are 6 sun loungers around the pool.

The kitchen is off from the dining room and is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, a microwave and fridge freezer. There’s an extendable table in the kitchen with 4 chairs and a door that leads out to the covered back terrace with outside dining table and chairs to seat 6 people for some al fresco dining, the back terrace is also where the charcoal built in BBQ is located.

The basement area of the villa has been made into a great games area with a Ping Pong table, lounging area with sofas and a TV and DVD player and table of board games, perfect for a break from the sun.

Outside offers a delightful pool area with a lawned area to the front of the villa and a great private BBQ and seating area to the rear of the villa. The pool that is approximately 4 x 8 meters is surrounded by 6 sun loungers and there is also a small pool for little ones.

The villa is situated on the hill above Lagos Marina and just up from the golden sands of Meia Praia, the Marina which is around a 15 minute walk away offers a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, a short walk over the footbridge and you are in the centre of the historic town of Lagos with its cobbled sidewalks and colourful market square, offering a larger variety of restaurants, bars, cafe, shopping and markets.

The golden sandy beach of Meia Praia is also about a 15-20 minute walk, with a variety of water sports activities available. Palmares, Boa Vista and Penina Golf Courses are a 5 to 15 minute drive away.

For the children there are a variety of water parks and theme parks within a 30-minute drive.

Nearest shop: Pingo Doce is the nearest main supermarket it is a 20 minute walk away, there is a smaller shop close to the urbanization which supplies essentials.
Nearest restaurant: The Marina de Lagos has a variety of restaurants, many of which cater for families with young children, it is a 20 minute walk away but 5 minutes in the car.
Nearest beach: The Meia Praia is walkable in 15 minutes. Lifeguards are present throughout the summer season and there are some lovely restaurants all along the beautiful white sandy beach.
